Job Title: Marketing Executive

Salary: £35k-£37k pa

Job Spec

Manage all social media planning, scheduling to drive engagement across our channels, including Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube.

Brainstorm and create engaging UCG content for our channels and proactively seek content opportunities within the Foundation, it’s programmes and the network it supports.

Have an understanding of ‘best practice’ for social media and be aware of trends.

Monitor performance of online content on socials and website to optimise and increase engagement and reader interaction – page views, time on site, return visitors and donations.

Lead on all copywriting requirements including website editorial, marketing emails special projects

Work with the Foundation Director to develop all Press Releases as required, with support from the Paul Smith press team.

With the Director, create and deliver a variety of events from exhibitions, dinners, pop-ups, public talks, solo and group mentoring, patron cultivation events and any other events as needed.

Assist the Foundation Director with the production of reports, organisation of events, shows and projects as required.

Design and execute print and digital collateral including but not limited to invitations, presentations, social media posts, email campaigns, and digital ads.

Support with general administrative duties

About You

At least 3 years of experience in marketing, specifically content creation and social media management

  • A passion for social media and strong eye for good design and visual aesthetics

  • An open and friendly person with good communication skills

  • Organised and efficient

  • Comfortable in an environment of evolving responsibilities

Ability to work independently and a proactive ‘doer’ who enjoys coming up with new ideas

Enjoy attending and delivering events

Passionate about connecting with new people

Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box.

Essential requirements

  • Proficient at video editing (Adobe Premiere Pro)

  • Graphic design for digital and print (Adobe InDesign & Adobe Illustrator)

  • Good eye for photography via a phone and camera

  • An understanding of SEO and Google Analytics

Ability to forward plan content as well as create social media assets via Canva or equivalent

Familiarity with creating newsletters on Klayvio (or a willingness to learn!)

Ways of Working

A hybrid of WFH and in the Paul Smith offices – 20 Kean St, London, WC2B 4AS

Regular visits to The Fashion Residency at Studio Smithfield, 1 East Poultry Avenue, London, EC1A 9PT

Occasional national travel will be required and regular ‘off-site’ meetings with partners.

Within reason, able to attend evening and daytime events as a representative of Paul Smith’s Foundation

**Please note that for the months of June & July 2025 this role will be working independently whilst the Foundation Director is on maternity leave. Within reason, the Director will be available over email. For August-November 2025, the Marketing Executive and Foundation Director will meet weekly, both in person and digitally.
